So there I was, right, watching the Oscars with my cat chillin’ and it was going to end soon because they were on the last one, which was best picture. So Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway go up and as they’re about to announce who won you can see that guy hesitate a little. Faye takes the paper away from Warren and tells the audience that “La La Land” won. So everything’s chill and the cast goes up and two people get to say their thanks and another gets interrupted because APPARENTLY they had made a mistake!
Can you believe that! Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway wanted to become even more famous than they already are AND become memes just like their idol Steve Harvey! I can’t believe they had this all planned out before even going out there! The directing crew was going to give them the slip with “Moonlight” on it and they were going to rip it up and use a decoy they had that said “La La Land”. Although Warren looked a little nervous about doing all this at first, Faye was a good friend and said the wrong name purposefully JUST to get them both to be in the spot light for a while. She knew Steve Harvey was talked about for AGES after he said the wrong name during Miss Universe in 2015 and they wanted that instant fame too. I guess everyone wants to be like Steve Harvey, the man, the myth, the legend.

I LOVED how sarcastic you were with the oscar fiasco, and I especially loved how you incorporated the dilemma of Steve Harvey in your Satire! 🙂
